What work am I really doing?

Just like many of you, I have been keeping busy with loads of work while still feeling unsatisfied and a constant stress which I have been facing over last few months. I usually exercise (weightlifting/ running) which helps me release the stress, but with the pollutions concerns in Delhi, it's better to stay at home than going out and smoking 40. And with the constant unscheduled travel, physical tiredness is also a factor. So I am going to document my last two weeks to really put down my "busyness" to test.

Monday: Woke up at 4:30 AM, was at airport by 5:30 to catch 7 AM flight to Chennai. Long queue at airport, and breakfast meant I was in flight at 6:40. Landed at 10:00 AM, and was in client office by 10:30 AM. Team review, client discussion meant that it was 5:30 in evening. Got an earful from everybody and started changing plans to initiate all the project sites by the end of the week. Spent almost an hour on phone and further hour on changing my flight tickets. Had a late night flight to Bangalore, reached by 10:30, hotel by 12:00 and hit the bed by 12:30.

Tuesday: Woke up at 6:30, went through mails, reached client site, did the site review, client meeting again at 3:30 which went till 5:30. I left immediately to Airport and had a 8:30 flight back to Delhi. Ended back in home and hit the bed by 12:30.

Wednesday: Visited office then went to client site in Delhi, post which had a meeting with my bosses back in our office. The meeting went till 09:00 PM, was back home and hit the bed by 10:30 PM.

Thursday: Woke up at 4:30, took the flight to Mumbai, was at site by 10:30, did project kick off and left back for Delhi in evening around 6:00 PM for 8:30 flight. I was back in Delhi and reached home by 11:30 PM.

Friday: Project kick off in client site at Sohna, left from home at around 9:30, drove down 30+ km, meeting, expectation setting, lunch and left back for home by 5:30 PM. Did a lot of flight booking after coming back to accommodate new plans for next week

Saturday: Went to office for a meeting with bosses, done, dusted and closed the weekend by 5 PM.

Busy eh!
A high level summary would include almost 4-5 flights a week and associated travel, a meeting time of close to 8 hours and rest of the time going to communication with the team throughout the day and site visits.

In all my busyness, I am looking for an opportunity to find time to create more value and use it effectively
